Jorie Soderberg.
Jorie has been riding horses since she was six and is now enjoying the competition that the discipline of Dressage has to offer.
Lorien Park Belafonte or affectionately known as Lorie, Jorie’s current mount, is a 6 year old Hanoverian Warmblood from the Sire Calypso Classic and Dam My Vanitfair. A surprise purchase whilst flicking through Horse Deals, Lorie and Jorie have created a close bond after there rocky first ride.
Testament to their working relationship, Lorie has placed above 60% in all Preliminary and Novice tests and is currently progressing well at the Elementary Level.
Jorie is quick to thank those people that support her in her quest to achieve excellence in her Dressage career. Her mother and stepfather Jan and Michael Sinclair and her father Carney Soderberg, not forgetting the most important person on the ground during training, her Riding Coach Anne Riley.
An integral part of Jorie’s success with Lorie is the fit of his saddle.
Jorie currently competes in the Santis Dressage saddle from Keith Bryan. The innovative panel design of the Santis provides a greater weight distribution area on the horses back allowing rider balance and greater freedom of movement for the horse.
