Saddle Fitting

Euro Saddle Imports wants to make the process of selecting the right saddle for you and your horse an easy task.

To assist us in helping you find the right solution to your saddlery needs, we ask that you are able to give us an honest indication of what your saddlery requirements are based from the following points;  

v     What is your budget for a new or second hand saddle?

v     What discipline do you want the saddle for i.e. dressage, jumping, eventing, pony club, pleasure riding, or endurance?

v     What does the rider want from the saddle?

v     What does the horse require? 

You are probably asking, “What can Euro Saddle Imports do differently to assist with solving my saddlery problems?”

 Our approach is as follows’;

1. We will respond to your inquiry within a 24 hour period whether it is via the internet or by telephone.

2. Arrange an appointment to meet you and your horse/pony.

3. Assess your horse’s confirmation and movement before he/she is ridden.

4. Show you our range of saddles available which are available for purchase and select the most appropriate saddle for this purpose. 

5. Fit and place the saddle correctly on the horses back and ask the rider to take the horse through its paces at walk, trot and canter.

6. Consult with the rider to see if they are happy with the saddle selected. Take the time to work through any issues or concerns that either horse or rider may be experiencing.

In addition to the above procedure, we also offer the following guarantee with the purchase of a saddle from Euro Saddle Imports;

1. You will not be sold a saddle which doesn’t fit.  So make good use of your appointment and utilize the time spent riding in the saddle to work out if it is the right saddle for you and your horse. If a second appointment is needed, the cost of the appointment is a far better investment than having an expensive saddle sitting in the tack shed gathering dust.  

2. You will not be left waiting for an appointment by a fitter that doesn’t turn up and will be contacted accordingly if we are running late.

     3.   We will provide a professional after sales service with all saddles sold.
