When the Jeffries family founded their business in 1820, they were guided by the principle of using the most sensitive of craftsmanship on the finest of materials, creating a lasting market for their products.

Since 1972 Jeffries has been part of W.A.Goold (Holdings) Ltd, a family owned and run group of companies, based in Walsall since 1877.

Today, Jeffries upholds the founding commitment to utilise an unbeatable combination of quality, craftsmanship and latest manufacturing methods to meet the increasing demands of the modern rider.

Craftmanship

Jeffries' saddlemakers have an absolute minimum of five years experience and every saddle is started and completed by one saddlemaker to ensure consistent craftsmanship throughout.

We manufacture our own trees, each to a design that is renowned for its excellent fit, produced in 6-ply laminated wood to prevent distortion whilst retaining comfort.

The finest quality leather is prepared and finished meticulously, providing ultimate durability and rider safety. We use only pure wool flock when stuffing saddles for optimum comfort.  
Rider comfort is ensured with maximum-density foam for saddle seats and knee rolls, whilst saddle flaps are carefully raced to ensure that stitching is in a channel and protected from abrasion, prolonging life and reducing wear.

The preservation and maintenance of your saddle depends on putting back the natural oils that are lost during use and exposure to weather. It's what lies beneath the surface that
makes a Jeffries' saddle so special.

This is the first saddle ever to have pre-curved panels which are flocked with pure new wool and flaps that fit the horse and rider perfectly. A medium deep seat and well-positioned knee blocks will help to achieve a deeper classical seat. 	Jeffries - Falcon Hawk Dressage A medium-deep seat encourages flexible, central positioning and an ideal leg position. The soft leather used for the seat and knee-pads gives a level of feel second to none, whilst the seat allows the rider to transfer weight more effectively. The fulcrum girth attachment systems holds the saddle in a balanced position and the leather-covered panels are flocked with pure new wool to aid the perfect fit. 	Jeffries – Falcon Adler VSD A comfortable, stylish general purpose saddle for riders who focus towards dressage. The VSD is sufficiently straight-cut to sit behind the horses shoulder and allow freedom of movement. The flaps allow the rider to rider with a straighter longer leg for flatwork. However, the air-flow knee-rolls give jumping security. The panels are flocked with pure new wool to aid a perfect fit. Suitable for horses with larger shoulders, such as warmbloods.
